Bob Bell serves Stellar Solutions, Incorporated as a senior Stellar Advisor. His exceptional professional depth and expertise in foreign policy, international affairs, U.S. diplomacy, NATO, and the European Union (EU) provides a wealth of experience to our clients.
In his final Senior Executive Service (SES) position for the U.S. Government, Bob served at NATO Headquarters as the Senior Civilian Representative of the Secretary of Defense in Europe and the Defense Advisor to the U.S. Ambassador to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization, with responsibility for planning, recommending, and coordinating Department of Defense policies, and programs throughout the European region.
Prior to that Bob worked in Brussels, Belgium as the Senior Vice President of Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC). As their Account Manager for NATO and the U.S. European Command, he coordinated the business development activities at these organizations of SAIC Business Units in Europe.
Bob’s service at the highest levels of the U.S. Government included 7 years at the White House as the National Security Council Counselor and Senior Director for Defense Policy and Arms Control. Prior to that, he served for 12 years on the majority staffs of the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations and the Senate Committee on Armed Services.
He is currently serving as CEO of National Security Counsel, LLC, and pursuing a PhD in International Security Studies from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy (Tufts University).
As a Senior Stellar Advisor, Bob provides clients expertise in missile defense, nuclear policy and posture, NATO and EU political and military issues, U.S. defense and arms control policies, strategic planning, congressional-executive relations on national security, and senior leader mentoring in order to meet their critical needs.
