Brook Leonard is a strategic leader and expert in planning, joint and multi-domain operations, air and space forces tactics and training, and the art and science of decision making. Becoming a Stellar Advisor after serving 32 years in the U.S. Air Force where he retired as a Major General, he is a talented executive who excels in fluid and complex environments, develops cohesive teams, drives positive change, and creates results that enable clients to solve their critical needs.
An F-16 and F-35 pilot with over 3000 hours including 576 combat hours, Brook excelled operationally, in command, and within multiple senior executive positions. Having commanded for a total of seven years at the squadron, group and wing levels in the CONUS as well as overseas, he forged organizational teams designed to excel at every conceivable mission. Notably, while the commander of the 46th Fighter Wing at Luke AFB, he led the beddown of F-35s in the largest F-35 wing in the world, oversaw development of F-35 pilot training for those pilots, and created, tested, and validated F-35 aircraft maintenance training.
As a senior leader within Joint Force Space Component Command, U.S. Space Command, and Combined Joint Task Force-Space Operations, he established multiple initiatives to overcome complex organizational and planning challenges. Leveraging joint doctrine and his multi-domain experience he established the roadmaps for the first dedicated Space Force Component to USSPACECOM and for the first Combined Joint Space Force Compenent Commander. Additionally, as the inaugural Chief of Staff for USSPACECOM, Brook built the warfighting processes and headquarters capabilities to achieve initial operational capability within two years and full operational capability in four years.
