Danielle Willis serves Stellar Solutions as the Director, Stellar Advisors. Bringing a wealth of operational and educational experience directly supporting Stellar’s Vice President of the Defense Sector, she optimally aligns the company’s 70+ Stellar Advisors in support of our client’s critical needs while also serving as a Stellar Advisor to clients.
Retiring from the U.S. Air Force as a Colonel after 28 years of service, Danielle’s career is highlighted with key leadership and operational staff positions. She became an expert in Joint and Combined Integration, Homeland Defense, and Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) as the Vice Director for Operations at NORAD. Danielle also has extensive command and control background in Air Operations Centers and Air Support Operations Centers.
Danielle began her military career as an F-15E Weapon Systems Officer before attending pilot training. As a pilot she has flown F-16s, served as a T-38C instructor pilot, has over 2,000 flying hours, and has conducted aerial combat operations in operations Southern Watch, Enduring Freedom, and Iraqi Freedom. Later in her military career, Danielle served as an Air Liaison Officer with multiple U.S. Army units and commanded the 93rd Air Ground Operations Wing, the U.S. Air Force’s premier unit for Tactical Air Control Party (TACP), Combat Weather, and Base Defense missions. She is uniquely skilled as a subject matter expert and experienced in advising U.S. and allied senior leaders on operational matters.
With a Doctorate, two Masters Degrees, a Bachelor Degree, two Fellowships, and two Certification Programs in machine learning and digital transformation from MIT’s Sloan School of Management and the University of California at Berkley, Danielle has a vast educational depth to skillfully support client short- and long-term objectives.
Danielle also teaches an Air, Space, and Cyber Power Strategy Course for the U.S. Air Force’s Air War College Distance Learning Program. Her deep expertise in strategic planning, joint operations, tabletop exercises and wargaming, international engagement, integration of commercial technologies, and business development make her uniquely qualified to support Stellar Solutions’ varied clients as a Stellar Advisor.
