A results-oriented Senior Executive Leader with extensive experience in operations leadership, staff training and development, information operations, integrated air and missile defense, continuous improvement, and program development, Dave Meyer serves as a Stellar Advisor with 36 years of military service while retiring as a U.S. Air Force Major General.
With proven success planning and executing large, complex and diverse projects on-time and under budget, Dave excelled on higher headquarters staffs, in command positions, and under combat conditions. While on the Air Staff he formulated policy supporting air and cyber operations, irregular warfare, counterproliferation, and homeland defense while overseeing a $73B operations and maintenance budget to include a $4.2B flying hour program.
During his tour at NORAD, he led the team responsible for planning and executing global campaign operations in support of U.S. Homeland Defense and oversaw execution of air defense missions across the NORAD Regions. As an F-16 pilot with over 4,300 flying hours and four combat tours in the Middle East he held command positions at the group and wing level for over five years.
