Ed Daniel is currently a project manager for Stellar Solutions, Inc. An experienced senior executive with recognized expertise in building and leading interagency, international, and intergovernmental teams, he develops and implements global strategies for collaboration in instructional programs, joint programs, and major international initiatives.
Retiring from the U.S. Air Force as a brigadier general, Ed served in multiple command and staff positions, and acquired over 3200 flying hours, primarily in the F-16. His senior executive skillsets include international affairs, strategic planning, international program development, staff training and team building, cyber operations, and ballistic missile defense.
As the Defense Attaché in U.S. Embassy-Ankara, he managed all aspects of security assistance and security cooperation programs necessary to sustain the military-to-military relationship between the U.S. and Turkey. While assigned to U.S. European Command as the Deputy Director for Readiness and Exercises, he ensured effective response to emergent, expanding and urgent missions including ballistic missile defense integration with NATO, cyber operations, and space operations. Additionally, he served as the first Joint Forces Cyber Component Commander (JFCCC) for a major theater-wide joint exercise.
Beyond his assignments in Ankara and Stuttgart, Ed’s other joint duties included two tours in Arlington at the National Guard Bureau, and a deployment to Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
