Frank Gorenc has over 35 years of senior executive experience in all aspects of aerospace operations, administration, business and program management while directing large organizations ranging in size from 300 to 30,000 and culminating as Commander of U.S. Air Forces in Europe, Africa and NATO Allied Air Command (AIRCOM).
He is rated pilot with over 4,900 flying hours in six aircraft types including fixed wing, rotary wing and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV). He has commanded units at every level: fighter squadron, operations group, wing, expeditionary wing, Air Force District Washington, a component Numbered Air Force, and a Major Command.
Frank has served in numerous positions at Air Combat Command, the Air Staff, the Joint Staff, and at U.S. European Command/Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE). As Director of the Joint Air Power Competence Center (JAPCC), NATO Allied Command Transformation first and largest Center of Excellence, he identified and advocated for war fighting concepts and innovations needed to maintain future effectiveness.
As a Stellar Advisor, Frank’s broad expertise provides clients with unique insight into the strategic direction of Air Force, Joint, and NATO operations. In the provision of planning, policy, guidance and resources, he is an expert at organizing, training and equipping air forces, and deploying and employing those air forces in combat operations. Finally, as a leader in combat throughout his career, he has integrated emerging technologies such as ballistic missile defense, cyber and space operations into the tactics, techniques and procedures for real world operations.
