Swede Dylewski is President and CEO of Patriot Solutions Intl, a SDVOSB (Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business) providing services including analysis, test and evaluation; training; engineering and energy security. Prior to forming Patriot, Swede was Vice President, Strategic Planning for URS Federal Services. He previously served as the Director, Strategic Initiatives for Lockheed Martin Integrated Systems and Solutions (IS&S). Swede is also the former Distinguished Visiting Scholar in the Center for Character Development at the U.S. Air Force Academy.
Before entering the corporate world, Swede spent 27 years in the Air Force in a variety of assignments in Tactical Aviation, Staff and Command billets. He served as the Air Force Aide to Presidents Reagan and Bush; Commanded the 90th Fighter Squadron and served as Joint Director of Operations for Alaskan Command at Elmendorf Air Force Base, Alaska.
He also served as the Commandant of the U.S. Air Force Weapons School at Nellis Air Force Base. Swede commanded the 33rd Fighter Wing at Eglin Air Force Base; the 1st Fighter Wing at Langley Air Force Base; and the Space Warfare Center at Schriever Air Force Base. He served as Director of Operations, Headquarters Air Force Space Command, Peterson Air Force Base, before finishing his career as the Commander 9th Aerospace Expeditionary Task Force, Southwest Asia, and Deputy Combined Forces Air Component Commander (DCFACC), Operation Enduring Freedom (OEF).
Swede was a Command Pilot with more than 2,500 flying hours in a variety of Air Force aircraft, primarily the F-15C, F-15E and F-5.
