A retired U.S. Air Force brigadier general with over 30 years of military service and 10 years of corporate senior executive experience, Mark’s broad expertise in space operations, strategic planning, budgeting and programming, acquisition, business strategies, and business capture and proposal development make him our most versatile Stellar Advisor.
During his military a career, Mark twice commanded at the wing level (including command of Cape Canaveral while the 45th Space Wing commander at Patrick AFB), served as a Deputy Director for Strategic Security on the Air Staff in the Pentagon, and served as Director of Plans at USSTRATCOM. During those senior leader tours of duty, his areas of emphasis included space operations, nuclear operations, homeland security, counter proliferation, missile defense, and cyberspace/network operations.
In the corporate chapter of his professional life, Mark served as CEO of a $31 million engineering consulting company, directed research and development projects valued at $72 million at the Nevada National Security Site, and led the capture of a $3.0 billion U.S. Air Force program for an aerospace defense company. His strongest competencies and skillsets include executive leadership, program and project management, operations, business development and analysis, and new business bid/proposal/capture processes.
