Mike Norris is a Stellar Advisor with exceptional expertise managing large complex organizations and broad experience in program management for operations, maintenance, support, security and logistics. With 26 years of U.S. Air Force service and over 18 years managing his consulting company, Mike’s many strengths include Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD), simulation design for constructive training and wargames, and integration of advanced capabilities to support multi-domain operations.
As a Deputy Program Manager at Headquarters U.S. Air Forces in Europe (USAFE) he provided air superiority and IAMD planning expertise, developed USAFE’s future Counterair and IAMD Roadmap for senior leader approval, and informed the acquisition strategy to advocate missile defense systems for U.S. and NATO allies. He additionally served as the lead for USAFE coordination with the Joint Staff’s Joint Integrated Air and Missile Defense Organization (JIAMDO) and also developed/executed IAMD European problem sets within the NIMBLE FIRE Wargames.
Mike’s support of the Missile Defense Agency for twelve years was highlighted with his design of a major multi-organizational series of experiments, execution of the first end-to-end exercise simulation for Homeland Defense, and leading complex distributed simulation exercises which linked multiple organizations, facilities and systems.
A command pilot with over 3200 fighter hours in the F-15, AT-38 and F-111 and significant command and staff positions in the CONUS, Pacific and Europe, Mike brings broad military and industry skillsets in leadership, team building, strategic planning, and operations management to clients as they strive to meet their critical needs.
