Pete Fesler is a Stellar Advisor for Stellar Solutions, Inc. and is responsible for creating unique opportunities for clients to solve their critical needs. His expansive expertise includes air and missile defense, crisis response, executive leadership, command and control, joint warfighting, strategy and planning, and integration of operational and support capabilities.
Prior to joining Stellar Solutions, Pete served in the U.S. Air Force for 27 years. Rising to the rank of Major General, his breadth of experience includes three command tours, staff assignments on Headquarters Air Force, Joint, and NORAD staffs, and multiple operational tours in the F-15C and F-22A.
During his military career, he was handed unique challenges that that broadened his experience base and required innovation and collaboration with large joint and interagency teams. These challenges ranged from developing 2014 Afghanistan draw down options, to coping with a surge in unaccompanied minors at the southwest border, and from working counter-narcotics with the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy to leading the NORAD & NORTHCOM COVID-19 mission assurance effort.
Most recently he led a hand-picked team in the development of a persistent, purpose built, affordable integrated air and missile defense architecture for the protection of concentrations of critical infrastructure in North America. As a recognized expert in homeland defense, Pete co-authored a paper on continental defense published by the Wilson Center and delivered multiple presentations in the U.S. and within international media and academic fora.
With broad senior leadership, higher headquarters staff, and operational experience including combat operations and deployments in the Middle East and Pacific, Pete’s extensive experience leading staffs and operational teams enables him to effectively engage with clients to evaluate their current positions and attain their strategic goals.
