Sean Pybus currently serves as a Stellar Advisor at Stellar Solutions, Inc. Retiring from the U.S. Navy after 34 years of service as a Naval Special Warfare SEAL officer with numerous Joint Special Operations duty assignments, he is an accomplished excutive leader with demonstrated success managing complex programs, teams, and operations with worldwide scope. He’s a consultant within the Defense and Security sectors, and President of Pybus Group LLC. Serving the military’s Special Operations community is a point of focus for Pybus, interpreting requirements for industry, informing business strategies, and navigating top levels of client decision-makers. The Tampa, Florida area supports most of his consulting portfolio, and serves as home to he and wife Patty.
With a broad global background, Sean’s multiple command tours included units in Panama, Germany and Bahrain, as well as duty as commodore, NSW Group 1 in San Diego (the U.S. Navy SEAL Schoolhouse). As a flag officer, he has served as commander of Special Operations Command Pacific, the Naval Special Warfare Command, and the NATO Special Operations Forces Headquarters.
His last position was as deputy commander, U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) where he was responsible for the day-to-day senior leadership of the command, including operations, budget, legal oversight, and staff management.
