Sid Clarke brings over 35 years of unmatched military and corporate experience to Stellar Solutions. A highly respected leader, diplomat, and executive, his areas of expertise include strategic planning, defense aerospace, combat operations, planning and programming, and international sales.
Retiring from the U.S. Air Force in 2016 as a Lieutenant General, Sid is fluent on all aspects of joint and coalition military operations with emphasis on aerospace operations, humanitarian assistance, and homeland defense. Additionally, his duties as the Director of the Air National Guard, Commander of 1st Air Force, and Defense Attaché in Turkey give extraordinary depth in political, inter-agency and international affairs.
A command pilot with over 4,000 total flying hours in the A-10, C-26 and F-16 aircraft, his military career spanned a variety of assignments in aviation, staff and command positions. Operationally, he commanded a fighter squadron, a fighter wing, an expeditionary wing (during Operation Iraqi Freedom), and a numbered Air Force (dual-purposed in support of Air Combat Command and North American Air Defense Command). Sid also served within the headquarter staffs in the Alabama Air National Guard, the U.S. Embassy-Ankara, and the Air Staff.
Following his military retirement prior to joining Stellar Solutions as a Stellar Advisor, Sid served as a senior mentor to a middle-east client and as Chairman of the Board for Armed Forces Insurance.
