Chris Christianson is a Stellar Advisor and a Subject Matter Expert on Logistics at Stellar Solutions, Inc. He is responsible for providing professional expertise on all matters relevant to logistics, sustainment planning, and supply chain management. Additionally, he provides advice and guidance on the Army, Navy, Air Force and corporate sector concerning distribution management and life cycle systems management.
Prior to joining Stellar Solutions in 2017, Chris served in the United States Army for 37 years, retiring as a Lieutenant General. His final assignment was as Director of Logistics (J4) on the Joint Staff. In that capacity he was responsible for synchronizing joint logistics support across all Services and DoD Agencies in support of operations worldwide. While in this position he developed and published precedent-setting doctrine guiding the planning and execution of joint and multinational logistics operations in support of our nation’s military.
His broad career included command and staff assignments on the Joint Staff, the U.S. Army Staff, 3rd U.S. Army and 8th U.S. Army – positions from which he engaged directly with the U.S. Central Command, Multi-National Forces-Iraq and U.S. Forces Korea. Immediately following his military retirement, Chris served as the Director of the Center for Joint & Strategic Logistics, a duty which focused on developing and educating senior logisticians for all services.
Chris has unique skills in strategic planning, business process reengineering, decision support systems, and interagency coordination. Beyond his military awards throughout his Army career, he has received extensive recognition from the civilian sector to include the National Defense Industrial Association Logistics Achievement Award and the Society of Logistics Engineers Achievement Award.
