Don Ralph is a Stellar Advisor for Stellar Solutions, Inc. He is responsible for creating unique opportunities for clients to solve their critical needs. His extensive portfolio includes international defense, crisis response, executive leadership, cyberspace, command and control, intelligence and reconnaissance, missile defense, transportation and logistics, and integrating operational and support capabilities.
Prior to joining Stellar Solutions, Don was in the U.S. Air Force Reserve for 35 years. As a major general, he served as the Mobilization Assistant (MA) to both the commander, Special Operations Command and to the commander, U.S. Air Forces in Europe/Africa. In addition, he has served as the MA to both the commander and director of operations at U.S. Strategic Command.
During his Air Force career, he had flying assignments primarily as a B-1B pilot, C-130 pilot and ISR FAM pilot (MQ1/MQ9); commanded at the squadron level, and augmented at the wing level and Numbered Air Force level, and worked directly for commanders of two Combatant Commands and four major commands. He has served at the Air Staff’s “Programming Engine Room” and in positions on the Joint Staff. He additionally worked closely with both NATO forces and U.S. forces in South Korea.
While assigned to U.S. Strategic Command, Don frequently served as the senior general officer on board the STRATCOM Alert aircraft. Additionally, while at Offutt AFB, he served as the “Blue Force Lead” during a critical, future-focused Cyber wargaming exercise. During his time at Stuttgart on the U.S. European Command staff from 2011 to 2014, he participated in each of EUCOM’s annual Austere Challenge joint exercises.
With broad global experience including combat operations in the Middle East, Africa, and East Asia for over nine years, he has an extensive network of defense, government, industry, and international contacts. Don also has broad expertise creating exercise and training programs, developing policy, and executing cyber/missile defense/distributed ground control node programs that integrate operational and support capabilities.
