An experienced commander and program manager with a demonstrated history of working in the Aviation & Aerospace industry, Ellen brings tremendous depth and expertise to Stellar Solutions as a Stellar Advisor. Her 20+ years in command and senior executive positions showcased her exemplary military and professional skills in crisis management, intelligence analysis, government operations, and emergency management.
Nationally recognized for leadership in science and technology, Ellen served in several key command and staff positions during her 40-year military career. These included command of Air Force Materiel Command, command of the Space and Missile Center, and command of the Air Force Research Laboratory. Her breadth of experience extended beyond the U.S. Air Force to joint duty at the National Reconnaissance Office as the Deputy Director, and to the Office of the Secretary of Defense as the Assistant for Atomic Energy as well as the Deputy Assistant for Counterproliferation.
Among her Stellar Advisor peers, Ellen’s acquisition and program executive management skillsets are unmatched as she oversaw multi-billion dollar acquisition programs as a commander, program executive officer, and as director of the Airborne Laser Program.
As a Stellar Advisor, Ellen’s expansive expertise provides unique insight into multiple client arenas to include satellite development and fielding strategies, advanced technology applications, depot maintenance, and supply chain management. Her foundational skillsets of space and missile technologies, systems engineering, aeronautics, astronautics, acquisition, strategic planning, and executive mentoring enable clients to solve their most critical needs.
