As a senior executive leader highly skilled in developing enterprise-level goals and objectives, enhancing international relations and strategy, and implementing global operations for results, Lance Landrum joins our Stellar Advisor roster with exceptional expertise. Retiring from the U.S. Air Force as a Lieutenant General, he’s served with great distinction at all levels of command and staff for over 31 years.
During his final five years of military service, Lance significantly impacted three joint headquarters staffs. At the Pentagon as the Joint Staff’s Deputy Director for Requirements and Capabilities Development he was the gatekeeper for all U.S. joint capabilities strategy and requirements.
He then moved to Headquarters U.S. European Command as the Director of Operations to orchestrate all matters related to current and future operations while additionally developing U.S. operational plans and strategy revisions to converge and align with NATO planning.
Finally, building on those previous staff tours, he was assigned to NATO as the Deputy Chair of the NATO Military Committee where he forged strategic military advice consensus among 31 Allies for NATO’s deterrence, defense and new operational plans.
Lance’s leadership expertise also extended to command positions at the squadron, group and wing level. As an F-16 pilot with over 2800 flying hours to include 395 combat hours, his operational overseas experience included flying tours in South Korea, Iraq and Italy.
