Larry Wells is a Stellar Advisor at Stellar Solutions, Inc. For the previous five years, Larry served as Senior Director, Cyberspace Innovation at Stellar Solutions, Inc. His extensive portfolio included international defense, cyberspace innovation, ISR employment, and integrating operational and support capabilities.
Prior to joining Stellar Solutions in 2014, Larry was in the United States Air Force. As a Major General he served as the IXth Air Force Commander at Air Combat Command. In that capacity he was responsible for providing strategic guidance, prioritizing financial execution and building IT processes to organize, train and equip over 30,000 personnel and 400 aircraft. He directly contributed to providing combat ready forces with unique capabilities to defend our Nation, counter terrorism globally, enhance security in Southwest Asia and support United States interests worldwide.
During his Air Force career, he had assignments as a fighter pilot (F-16) and ISR pilot (U-2, RQ-4); commanded at the Squadron, Group, Wing and Numbered Air Force level; and served in Joint positions at the Pentagon Joint Staff, United Nations Command and U.S. Forces Korea.
Larry Wells has over 25 years of successful senior strategic leadership and is responsible for implementing IT commodity strategies to leverage enterprise-wide buying power, increase security and standardization, reduce total cost of ownership and enable operational innovation. With broad global experience including combat deployments to Southwest Asia and over eight years in East Asia, he has an extensive network of defense, government, industry, and international contacts. Larry also has broad experience creating exercise and training programs, developing policy and executing cyber programs that integrate operational and support capabilities.
