As a retired U.S. Air Force major general, Mark has over 32 years of military experience in aviation, training, acquisition, human resources programs, and homeland security. He once served as the DoD President for the Commercial Airlift Review Board, served as the U.S. member of the Permanent Joint Board on Defense (US-Canada), was the lead author of the NORAD Agreement, was a co-author of Colorado’s Homeland Security Strategic Plan, and served as the Director of the National Security Innovation Competition.
