Retiring from the U.S. Navy as an Admiral following over 40 years of service, Scott comes to Stellar Solutions as a seasoned leader who is exceptionally skilled at generating strategic vision and efficient processes in pursuit of a client’s critical needs. From developing operational plans, to guiding tactical actions with assessment plans, to measuring progress in achieving stated goals, his executive level depth of experience is foundational to his work.
With a foundation in aviation as an F/A-18 pilot, Scott’s career went on to encompass several significant command and staff tours within the United States and abroad. Highlights included command of the USS ABRAHAM LINCOLN Carrier Strike Group, Commander of Seventh Fleet, Director of the Navy Staff, and his final assignment as the Commander of U.S. Pacific Fleet.
Since his military retirement in 2018, Scott established relationships with several prominent institutions of higher learning. A previous MIT Center for International Studies Robert E. Wilhelm Fellow, he currently serves as a MIT CIS Research Affiliate. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the Naval War College and supports the Center for Naval Analysis as a Senior Fellow.
Scott is a Stellar Advisor who is driven to explore opportunities of service where his interests, abilities, and experience align in support of client goals and objectives. His many areas of expertise include strategic planning, joint operations, international engagement, process improvement, and change management.
